Correct technique is of the utmost importance where we have three of the Gold Coast’s leading Ballet teachers and technicians available to our LAUNCH students for our RAD Ballet, Technique and performance classes. Karen Perring

Following a highly successful dance performance in the 1980’s, Karen is now a teaching power house, specialising in teaching and choreographing in all levels of Classical Ballet.

Her teaching spans across the UK and Australia including West London School of Dance, Anna Pavlova Studio Ivy House in London, and was a Mentor for the BA (Hons) students at R.A.D. London Headquarters. Karen has previously owned her own dance schools before teaching at various studios in Queensland.

Her qualifications include a Diploma in Dance Teaching and Management and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Karen is a Fully Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance achieving her Teachers Certificate in 1989. Karen is passionate about passing on to the
students her knowledge and experience, instilling an appreciation for this beautiful art form.

Sonja Middelbosch

Sonja is highly regarded in the Australian dance industry as THE ultimate strength and conditioning technician, working with performers to build a strong foundation that will allow them to perform at their best. She coaches some of the country’s leading dancers, who have gone on work for or study with prestigious international company’s including:

Midori Lotz

Midori completed her R.A.D training with Distinction through Ransley Dance Centre in 2004 and was accepted into Level Six of The Australian Ballet School.

She had an incredible professional performance following her training with amazing dance company including the Houston Ballet and The Australian Ballet Company where she performed in productions of  The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Manon and Marie.

Midori’s vision as a dance teacher is to inspire, encourage and nurture each student to reach their technical and artistic potential. She strives to nourish creativity, passion and discipline and believes it can all be achieved in a respectful and fun environment.
